Wanted 'Vintage' Sprint Car Engine

I am looking for a sprint car engine from the mid to late 1980's to put in my 1985 Gambler project. I am not looking for an expensive high end engine. Just something to put in the car for display. I want it to be age correct. I am in the Springfield Illinois area. Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking for racing memorbilia from the Springfield area. Little Springfield, Morgan County Speedway, Godfrey Speedway, etc.
