Well I guess everyone has figured out that it is time for me to start asking for help.
I realize in these tough times how hard it is for all of us. Can you imagine how hard it is for an organization that relies pretty much on donations? If we all pitch in we can help many less fortunate kids have a much brighter Christmas.
As many of you know, since 1993 I have done my annual Christmas drive, since 1998 I have worked with Denver Childrens Home (DCH).
For anyone who does not know about my project, I take donations for the kids for Christmas. I take NEW toys, hats, racing t-shirts, pictures, posters, clothes, cash, and anything else (new) that people wish to donate. These donations will help provide a much better holiday season for the kids that live DCH, Donations are tax deductible and all proceeds go directly to DCH.
The Denver Childrens Home is a non-profit treatment facility providing food, clothing, recreational activities and school supplies as well as treatment for more than 450 troubled children yearly.
I hope that with your support that we can provide a much happier holiday
and make a big difference in some young lives. I wish to thank everyone for their support in the past and I hope that I can count on your continued support with this worthwhile endeavor. The kids range in age from 10-18. We ask that no colors (blue or red) be donated as they may be associated with gangs, also no pro football or baseball clothing for the same reason, although racing related stuff causes no worries.
