Hi guys, I found this forum while looking for reference pictures for a modeling project I'm working on. I'm chopping up and converting a 1/18 scale die-cast 55 Chevy into an early 70s Dirt Track / Figure 8 Race Car. My dad used to take me to the races at the Anderson Speedway here in Indiana when I was a kid. I have always been a big 55-57 Chevy fan and there were a lot of them on the track back then. I loved the beat up and gnarly look of those old dirt track cars. I even had an uncle that used to drive midgets when I was little. I remember bugging the hell out of him asking questions about his car. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and talking about those great old race cars. :wave2:
