It's not so much your age, it's the amount of time that has passed from the present, to some time in the past. So I look at this picture of me, driving R.A. Kaylors midget, a Ron Schleiger "RaceCraft" powered by a SCAT VW, thinking "oh yeah, 1983 good memory's". This was the 1983 season, picture is at Joe Krpan's "Raceland Raceway". Eddie Jackson had built that SCAT for his pal R.A., neat old photo, then it hits me....30 years ago!?! how can it be 30 years? R.A. Kaylor is gone, Eddie Jackson is gone, Joe Krpan is gone, Raceland is gone, good looking midget race cars are really gone (except in vintage form)wow.
