Introduction... New from Pacific NW.

Hello. For me it started shortly after WW2 sitting on sawed off tree stumps at a a new track that opened at Nashua NH. N East midgets were running a day race with both Offy and Ford classes. I was most impressed by the Fords especially later when we moved down to Mass. There I was within walking distance of the Pines speedway in Groveland Mass and watched them with the bluish alcohol frames wich came out BOTH sides. The midgets progressed to modifieds and then the super mods. I was fortunate to see a New England legend the late Ollie Silva develop his skills during the 50's and 60's. I currently own a '72 Jerry Malloy built Sprint car which runs vintage here in the NW. Looking forward to being a member here. Hope to learn a lot and make some worthwhile contributions on here.
