Hi there, my name is Andrew Thornton, im an 18 year old Bracket racer from right outside Houston Texas, ive been to this site a couple times before and decided I should register, ive been drag racing since I was 9 years old, and I grew up at the dragstrip and dirt track facilities at Houston Raceway Park. (Royal purple raceway) and I have the strange interest of hunting ghost tracks, I love listening/reading about all the old stories from before my time from all the bracket racers who have been around a while, from tracks like Houston International Raceway, Eastex Dragway, etc. And some of you old time California midget racers may have raced with my dad Gary in the mid 70s, he drove for Mike Manis at several tracks, but Marysville is the main one I can think of off the top of my head.
