A Few Photos from Ken Paprocki

Hi Everybody and HO HO HO...Merry Christmas.

Here are a few photos from one of my customers whose family is from North Denver. I think he said these were from his Grandmothers album. The first picture is taken at Lakeside Amusement Park and I think this building became the Fun House....although it seems to be facing north and south instead of east and west. Lakeside used to have dances in there like Elitches Trocadero Room, complete with the Big Bands of that era. You can see ads for those dances behind the #7 midget in one of the other pics. Also, in another picture, you can see the driver of one midget is thrown from his car and is landing in another car. I have seen pics on ARM of (I think) the same accident...but not sure. I can not ID the other drivers nor could Ken....SOOOOO Here you go Mitch....HELP. By the way, all of these photos were taken at Denvers Lakeside Speedway or Amusement Park circa 1930-40 ish????
